composers working on the vast ‘six and a half hour’ score, it was Adam’s engaging and captivating music, sung by his equally talented sister, Eleni Violaris (who sang all the vocal cues for the series), that prompted Sony Classical and Warner Classics & Jazz to offer to release a soundtrack album of the series. One of the most compelling cues from the series, was an Italian aria that Adam wrote (including Italian words) for a scene featuring David Dimbleby in Renaissance Florence. The 'Florence Cue' can be heard on Adam’s TV Music page, as well as the commercial spin-off album, ‘Rainstriker’, inspired by the series. ‘Rainstriker’ is a contemporary Song-Cycle and concept album based on fantasy, myths and legends, sung in English and Anglo-Saxon;  a concept that Adam and Eleni especially developed for the 'Seven Ages of Britain' series, in which Eleni sang the end title song in Anglo-Saxon, inspired by David Dimbleby reciting from the great English epic poem, 'Beowulf', in Anglo-Saxon. Adam’s talent for composing elegant and memorable melodies with captivating harmonies and engaging rhythms, as well as his innate sense for the descriptive, has led Adam to concentrate on composing music for film and television, as well as production music and commercial albums.  Adam's film composer influences include Dimitri Tiomkin, Max Steiner, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Victor Young, Elmer Bernstein, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Angela Morley, Thomas Newman, Philip Glass and Anne Dudley. Classical composer influences include Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Tschaikovsky, Chopin, Debussey, Ravel, Richard Strauss & Ralph Vaughan Williams.  Adam enjoys giving informal piano recitals of music by Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin.
